Bouncy Tech Northants Ltd – Bouncy Castle Hire Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bouncy castle hire agreements between Bouncy Tech Northants Ltd (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and the person or organisation hiring equipment (“the Hirer”, “you”, “your”). By booking or using our equipment, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Booking and Payment
• A booking is confirmed only when a deposit (£25) has been received and the Company has issued confirmation.
• The remaining balance must be paid on or before delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• The Company reserves the right to cancel any booking if full payment is not received as agreed.
• All prices include delivery, setup, and collection within our service area unless otherwise stated.

2. Cancellation Policy

• If you cancel your booking:
• - More than 7 days before the hire date – full refund of any deposit.
• - Within 7 days of the hire date – deposit is non-refundable.
• The Company may cancel the booking due to bad weather (high winds, heavy rain) or safety concerns. In this case, you will be offered a full refund or the option to rebook at a later date.

3. Delivery, Setup, and Collection
• The Hirer must ensure clear access to the setup area.
• The Company will deliver, install, and inspect all equipment to ensure it is safe for use.
• Equipment must not be moved or repositioned after installation.
• The Hirer must ensure the site is free from sharp objects, animal waste, or obstacles.
• The Hirer must be present at both delivery and collection.

4. Safety and Supervision
• The Hirer is responsible for the safe operation and supervision of the equipment for the entire hire period.
• Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
• The inflatable must not be moved once set up.
• Mixing of different age groups or sizes on the inflatable is not permitted.
• Do not allow more than the recommended number of users at any one time.
• Electrical blowers and extension leads must not be tampered with.

5. Damage, Loss, Theft & Conditions of use
• The Hirer is responsible for the equipment from delivery until collection.
• Any damage (including punctures, tears, or excessive dirt) will be charged to the Hirer at replacement or repair cost.
• Theft, vandalism, or loss of equipment must be reported immediately to the Company and the police (if applicable).
• Shoes, trainers, sandals, and high heels must be removed before using the inflatable. Socks are recommended.
• Glasses, jewellery, badges, watches, and sharp objects must be removed before use.
• Face paint, glitter, coloured streamers, party poppers, silly string, paint, food, drink, chewing gum, and any staining substances are strictly prohibited on or near the inflatable.
• Users must not carry any sharp objects while on the inflatable.
• No animals or pets are permitted on or near the inflatable at any time.
• No climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls or netting.
• No somersaults, flips, or rough play.
• No food, drink, sweets, or chewing gum are allowed on the inflatable.
• Cleaning fee of £50 may apply if prohibited substances are found.

6. Weather Conditions
• The Company reserves the right to cancel or terminate use of the inflatable if weather conditions become unsafe.
• The inflatable must be deflated and disconnected in strong winds or heavy rain.
• No refund is given once the equipment has been delivered and setup, unless unsafe conditions are declared by the Company at setup.

7. Liability
• The Company is fully insured for public liability; however, this covers only accidents arising from proven negligence by the Company or its staff.
• The Hirer is responsible for ensuring proper supervision and adherence to safety rules.
• The Company shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from misuse, neglect, or failure to follow instructions.
• The Hirer agrees to indemnify the Company against all claims arising from the use or misuse of the equipment while under their control.

8. Electrical Supply
• The Hirer must ensure a suitable 240V mains electricity supply is available within 25 metres of the setup area.
• If no power source is available, a generator may be supplied at additional cost.
• The Company’s electrical equipment is PAT tested annually.

9. Hire Period
• Standard hire duration is up to 6 hours, unless otherwise agreed.
• Late collection due to the Hirer’s delay may incur additional charges of £25 per hour of overlapped time period.
• The equipment remains the property of Bouncy Tech Northants Ltd at all times.

10. Indemnity
• By accepting these Terms, the Hirer agrees to indemnify and keep indemnified Bouncy Tech Northants Ltd against any loss, damage, claims, or expenses arising from the hire or use of the equipment, except where caused by the Company’s proven negligence.

11. Governing Law
• These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be dealt with in the courts of England and Wales.

12. Acceptance
• By signing the hire agreement or accepting delivery of the equipment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
