At Bouncy Tech Northants Ltd, the safety of our customers and their guests is our highest priority. When you hire from us, you can be confident that all equipment supplied meets current UK safety standards and is maintained to professional, commercial-grade requirements.

We are committed to delivering not only fun and memorable experiences, but also safe and fully compliant inflatable hire across Northamptonshire.

Commercial Standard Inflatables

All of our bouncy castles and inflatables are manufactured in accordance with BS EN 14960, the recognised European safety standard for inflatable play equipment.

To ensure ongoing compliance and safety:

  • All inflatables undergo annual independent inspection by qualified RPII inspectors.

  • Equipment is checked before every hire by our trained team.

  • Any inflatable showing signs of wear or damage is immediately withdrawn from use.

This ensures our equipment remains safe, secure and in excellent working condition at all times.

Insurance & Legal Compliance

Bouncy Tech Northants Ltd maintains comprehensive insurance cover for complete peace of mind:

  • £5 million Public Liability Insurance

  • £5 million Product Liability Insurance

  • £10 million Employers’ Liability Insurance

All electrical equipment, including blowers and extension leads, is regularly PAT tested.

Copies of our insurance certificates, risk assessments, method statements and hire terms are available upon request.

Inflatable Setup & Operating Procedure (Method Statement)

To ensure every hire runs smoothly and safely, our team follows a structured setup and removal process:

Delivery Procedure

  • Arrive at agreed location and inspect setup area for hazards.
  • Ensure sufficient space and safe surface and unload equipment safely.

Installation Procedure

  • Position inflatable correctly and secure using anchor stakes or weights.
  • Connect blower and electrical supply and ensure blower is secure and protected.
  • Fully inflate equipment and install safety mats.

Safety Check

  • Check anchoring and inflation pressure.
  • Check seams and structure.
  • Provide safety instructions to hirer.

Collection Procedure

  • Switch off power.
  • Deflate equipment and inspect
  • Pack and load safely

During the Hire

For continued safety:

  • The inflatable must be supervised at all times.

  • Usage should stop immediately in heavy rain or high winds.

  • Children should be grouped by similar age and size.

  • No food, drinks or sharp objects are permitted on the inflatable.

  • Adherence to all agreed T's and C's must be followed at all times

If generators are used, fuel levels are monitored and refuelling is carried out safely and away from participants.

Collection & Site Clearance

At the end of the hire:

  • All users are safely cleared from the inflatable.

  • Equipment is deflated, folded and packed securely.

  • The surrounding area is checked for debris or forgotten items.

  • All equipment is removed in line with safe handling procedures.
